Betterton family,
So very sad to hear of Tonya's death. I have not seen her in years; however as a long time classmate of 78, I will always remember her with such a tender and loving heart. Also, very fond memories of Bill & Sarah Rinehart and being members of  the 3L's 4-H club with Tonya. Take care.

Rest in peace Tonya.  Your spirit is free!!!!!  Our sincere sympathy to Tonya's family.
We met Tonya many many years ago providing transportation for her to attend a medical appointment in Denver.  We became friendly and soon Tonya began attending Father Dyer United Methodist Church.  We marveled at her "go get it" attitude whizzing around Breckenridge CO to the grocery store, post office, church, Breck Rec Center or anywhere else she needed to go.  Even during the harsh Winter months she was out and about.  She attended church regularly and we so much enjoyed her being there.  She loved her she lived for her cats and they will surely miss her.  We were delighted to help get her back home to Iowa to celebrate her mother's 80th birthday just a couple years ago.  Tonya, you will be missed and you were loved by many.  We truly hope memories of happier times will replace these these recent sad days for her family and friends.
With sympathy, Carol & Les Clarke

Tonya was such a lovely and friendly person.  She always wore a smile on her face and she enjoyed fellowship hour at the Father Dyer Church - her presence will be missed.  She always loved our visits when we stopped by to drop off groceries.  What a special positive person.

May your wonderful memories of her sustain you during this time of grief.
Blessings, Jim & Irene

Rest in Peace Tonya, I got to know Tonya briefly as I recently became her neighbor in Breckenridge.  She was welcoming even though she had difficulties getting around.  Condolences to her family and friends.

Tonya was intrepid, heading out into the north wind to power to the grocery store or home,
Always enjoyed talking about her garden and flowers.
We miss seeing her at Father Dyer.

My heart goes out to Tonya's mom and the rest of her family.  Tonya had such a great sense of humor and we shared many laughs.  I always teased her about the time I saw her going down the street and had to run and holler behind her because she was going so fast. I'm really going to miss seeing her.  Love and Peace to you, Tonya.
