Jim was one of the first people we met when we moved to out by Harris Park. He was always a fast, dependable friend, quick with joke, a laugh, or a helping hand. We shared many meals with him at his house, our house, or one of the many friends Jim introduced us to. When we had to move back to be closer to my parents Jim kindly took both our cats, Betsy and Logan, and gave them a good home until they too had to move on.

We'll miss you Jim, especially now that we can't keep telling ourselves that "We'll go visit Jim and our friends out in Bailey *next* summer". We'll still think about and our times together.

With Love,
Jon Ewing

My family has so many happy memories. My daughter would call you “Big Jim” when she was a toddler. (You were not big in stature, but big at heart). I’ll always remember you cross-country skiing through the meadow that separated our houses to get home before the big blizzard of ‘03. And your cowboy biscuits, when we shared meals together. Your visits to our house in Como. You’re presence was always a joy. We will miss you & hold you fondly in our hearts & memories.

Jim was a big part of our lives for 10 years in Joseph, Oregon. What a great friend we had, and we shared many good times, food, road trips. We find photos in several albums from the past. He is sincerely missed and in our hearts. The Mason's
