Music by The Piano Brothers

Terrance McNicholas was born on October 20, 1961 in Newark, New Jersey to John and Jean McNicholas. A short while later, the family loaded up and headed west to Colorado, where they found their forever home in Leadville.
Terrance met his soulmate and life long best friend Debra, in 1983, and in 1984 the two wed and welcomed son James. A few short years later, daughter Stacy joined the family, and made it complete.
Terrance was a family man, and devoted to his community. Some of his greatest accomplishments were devoting 19 years to the fire department, the Tabor Grand, and was actively involved in community politics.
As a Leadville native, Terrance loved to hunt and fish, camping, and spending countless summers in Tincup with his family, enjoying a cold beer and listening to classic country. As an avid bowler, many memories were made at Kristie Lanes. Though his life was cut short, he enjoyed his grandbabies with every ounce of his soul.
Terrance is preceded in death by his mother, Jean McNicholas, and father, John McNicholas. He is survived by wife, Debra McNicholas (McCauley) of Leadville, son, James (Amanda) McNicholas of Leadville, daughter, Stacy (Tyrel) Stultz of Leadville, siblings; Mike McNicholas of Canon City, Pat, & Sean (Deneb) McNicholas of Leadville, Colleen (Scott) Marcella of Leadville, Kathy (Dewayne) Babb of Canon City, grandbabies, Addie, Gemma, & Wyatt, mother in Law, Patricia Toombs of Penrose, sister in law Candy McCauley of Colorado Springs, numerous nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at the Cornerstone Church in Leadville with the funeral service to begin at 10:00 a.m. at the Cornerstone Church.  Burial will be held at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Leadville with a reception to follow at Leadville Elk's Lodge, #236.

To my friend T-Bone,
I’m terribly saddened about reading the news of your passing.
I know we haven’t spoken in awhile but a lot of memories came flooding back upon reading about the news. Some of my greatest memories of the last 20+ years include you and Deb.
I would like to share a few.
The first one that comes to mind is ice fishing at Twin Lakes and hitting 105 mph on my snowmobile. And Tom being air lifted to Denver with a ruptured spleen.
The year after year that Luana, Louis, Linda and I came up for boom days.
Playing pool in the basement of the Tabor Grand.
But, I would have to say my fondest memory would be the time that Dan, Lane and I came up to hunt. All three of us drew elk tags. Even though you hunted a different season, you took time off to escort us to the prime hunting areas. Needless to say, we all filled our tags.
There are so many more but we can talk about them when we meet again.
God bless my friend.
To Deb, James and Stacy, my thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. I pray that you have good thoughts and happy memories.
Yours truly,

Robert and Rose Lucero

So sorry for your loss Deb. We were all in the lodging rental business and we shared a lot of things from time to time and tenants.. also bowling was a fun time the place to escape for a while. I did get to talk to Terrance back in December I think before we left for Yuma Arizona. I am still down in Arizona and won't be able to be back in time for the funeral. Our sincerest condolences.
