Music by The Piano Brothers

Bryan Eugene Gile, age 44, went to be with the Lord February 17th, 2019.  Bryan was born in Kansas City, KS on August 10th, 1974 and has lived in Eagle for the past 10 years.  He is survived by his wife, Pennie Gile, Eagle, CO, daughters, Autumn Gile, (Adam Bodrogi),Glenwood Springs, CO, Audrey Gile, Kansas City, MO, Erin Keeney, Eagle, CO, Courtney Julo, Grain Valley, MO, son, Ethan Gile, Eagle, CO, father, David Gile, Forsyth, MO, brothers, Thomas Gile, Forsyth, MO, and Joshua Gile, Licking, MO, and first grandchild, Bridger Gile, Glenwood Springs, CO.  He is preceded in death by his mother, Linda (Burgess) Gile.

Bryan loved people and his larger than life personality, warmth, and energy drew people to him.  Working at FedEx gave Bryan the perfect opportunity to laugh and talk with people, he always made his presence known.  He was known to wear his Fed Ex shorts year round!  Unfortunately, a back injury ended his career in 2012.

Even though back pain became an everyday occurrence for him, Bryan was an eternal optimist, rarely complained, and continued to pursue the things he loved which were many and included hiking, fishing, camping, rafting, rock climbing, skiing and boarding, (yes both!), bible studies and playing his guitar.  He was an accomplished guitar player and songwriter, having written and copyrighted many contemporary Christian songs.  He loved his family, his cat “Kuna”, and coffee shops, in fact, Bryan and Pennie were married at Yeti’s Grind in Eagle in 2009.

Lastly and most importantly, Bryan was a true Christian and his faith was deep and real.  We find peace knowing that he is safe and pain-free in the hands of God and likely causing a ruckus in heaven with his booming voice and high energy!  Godspeed Bryan, until we meet again, we love you!

Sometimes we wonder how and why things happen the way they do. At those times we need to understand that God's wisdom is beyond our understanding and everything happens for a reason. Too young, too soon in our eyes, but the right time in God's. We celebrate Bryan's life and have faith in his better new life. God bless all.

Just a couple notes... We will have an open mic opportunity at Bryan’s service if anyone would like to speak.

Bryan had no life insurance, in lieu of flowers, any help to Bryan’s memorial fund would be most helpful!

Bryan's great enthusiasm for God was at times overpowering.Just as it should be!!! I hope he gets together with my brother Mike in Heaven and jams!! Mike is a drummer.Bryan and Mike are quite similar now that I think about it.They are both like giant steam rollers of Truth that are happy to run over falsehoods for "Funzies"!! I'll miss you brother, but my heart glows with the notion of you being pain-free.See ya hopefully not all that soon!!!

Pennie has shared many stories of Bryan's high energy spirit with us and there is no doubt his presence will be missed. My thoughts are with all of his family and friends as each individual finds their own path through this difficult time. Hopefully the wonderful memories Bryan provided will ease the pain at least a little.

Bryan was my next door neighbor and always had an extremely positive and outgoing nature. He was very proud of his family. He looked out for everyone and also brought me to Jesus Christ and baptism. If you had a problem he always had time to talk to you and help. He shared the Lord through his original guitar songs that carried a message with something in there for everyone. They were truly otherworldly. I feel blessed to have been touched by the amazing life of Bryan Gile.

May the experience of Bryan’s departure, essentially be only a reminder for us all to live in love, and I hold that all his relations and friends find and share the joys of his life with one another, may your grieving and celebrating of Bryan’s life be blessed with as much grace, ease, and joy, as is possible !
With unconditional positive regard. So long for now Bryan, Matthew
