Juanita Mildred (Rush) Marler, 92, of Buena Vista, Colorado passed away on January 21, 2017 in Buena Vista. She was born on August 20, 1924 in El Reno, Oklahoma to John Howard and Ida Mae (Neathery) Rush.  She married Vernon Marler on August 19, 1950 in Greenwood, Arkansas. She graduated from El Reno High School and worked as a sales associate for J.C. Penneys in Lompoc, California and also a sales associate and window display coordinator for Sears in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She  loved to sew, was a very accomplished seamstress and also did furniture re-upholstery. Juanita loved to travel and lived in Oklahoma, California, Tennessee and Colorado. She traveled to many places including the US Virgin Islands, Antwerp Belgium, Spain, France, Mexico and Germany.

Juanita is survived by her daughter Jeanne Smith; four grandsons, Richard Hoover and his wife Vicky of Texas, Bob Hoover and his wife Jeanna of Texas, John Huff and Rusty of Oklahoma and Steve Dimmitt and his wife Kym of Arkansas; six great grandchildren Grayson Hoover, Grant Hoover, Chris Hauser, Alyssa Hoover, Hannah Dimmitt and Casey Huff; two sisters Polly Shannahan and Marie Ninman both of Buena Vista and nieces, Denise Rush of Buena Vista and Linda Gambill Watkins of Buena Vista and many nieces and nephews. She was preceeded in death by her parents, husband, sister Viola Bryant and her brother Lloyd Rush.

We are so very sorry that we can't be there for the services but please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers today as you honor our beloved Juanita. She was such a beautiful lady inside and out and will be greatly missed by so many people. Love you all. Jim and Vicki Davis
