Shelly,

As cruel as it may seem, just remember that the good lord makes these decisions and they are out of our control. Remember the good times and maintain the tremendous strength you have exhibited throughout your life. We all love you very much and are here to help you heal in any way we possibly can.
With all my love and affection, Dad

Michelle,

No one can prepare for such a loss; it comes like a swift wind. In this sorrowful time, may the care and love of those around you give the strength to get through the days ahead.

Shay had friends and family across the world, in the UK, Canada and the United States.
He may be gone from this earth, but he remains in our hearts and our minds; free from all troubles now, may he rest in peace. Be strong, take care of yourself and cherish the happiest moments.

Sincerely,
Shannon Salsman, Canadian friend and family

We never met Seamus in person, but we enjoyed many conversations with him on Facebook, from sharing jokes, to mine and Shays bond over being Leo's, to his and Dale's debates regarding politics! We may have never seen him face-to-face but we still consider him a friend just the same and he is greatly missed.

Many condolences to Michelle and to Shay's family

Seamus was a light in dark times, and fireworks in good. He was a dear friend to me, and I miss him every day. I just want to say how sorry I am that we all have lost such a lovely soul. I'm so sorry for you, his family, who must have such a large hole in their lives. My heart goes out to his soon to be bride. He was not just a lover of life. He had a spark that still shines in the hearts of so many. May your memories of him bring you joy, even in your grief.

I can't properly express my sorrow for your loss. I never had a chance to meet Seamus. We would talk of Facebook often and I always appreciated his good nature and his sense of humor. I know that I'll think of him every year when Eurovision is on because he introduced me to it in 2010, and this Yankee been a fan ever since.

At one point we agreed that if I ever got to Colorado or he ever got out to Baltimore or Philly that I'd make a trip to meet him so we could have a drink together. It saddens me more than I can say to know that this will never happen. The world is a slightly darker place now.

With deepest sympathies...

Seamus I hope you are in a much happier place and at peace with the world and most importantly yourself. Even though we never met in person and it was via Facebook that we met, your warmness, wit, intelligence and general amazing sense of humour stood out like a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day. I will miss your posts which I came to look forward to and our occasional exchanges as I imagine all your friends, family and loved one's will. My heart goes out to your family, friends and loved one's who now have a huge gap in their lives now that you are no longer here, however you will always live on in their hearts. Goodbye my friend, may God go with you and happy trails, until we meet again.

I only knew Seamus through Facebook and online games. After I quite playing the game, I enjoyed reading his many online posts, and kept him as a "friend". He seemed like a great guy, and I'm shocked to hear of his passing. I will miss reading his comments and posts. Rest in peace.
