I will always and forever love you Grandpa Walt, you were a big role-model to me growing up and will always remember the memories I made with you along the way. You will not be forgotten, although I wish you could have stayed with us a little longer than expected.

Jen and Arthur, I knew your dad for many years and always enjoyed our little talks. I got to see him a lot when I was employed at Fire Station 2 in the Village and could just walk next door to say hello. I will always have fond memories of your family. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Our deepest condolences to the Fox family. Sadness: Another Red Cliff patriarch gone Home, may you find comfort that he surely rests in peace and went on to great reward in heaven, united with the spirits of Janice and Loren, per the exemplary life he lived, and how much he gave to others and so humbly, faithfully, and nobly served his community. It was always a joy to run into him. His presence will be sorely missed, and I pray that our Savior will wrap you all in His loving arms and bless you with comfort, assurance, and His divine, loving peace that passes understanding; may you feel joy for the eternal peace that he has reached. He was a great citizen - if there were more like him, our country wouldn't be in the state it is today. Now, take comfort for him as his "...citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables Him to subject all things to Himself, will transform our lowly bodies to be like His glorious body." "So while we are still in this tent, we sigh under our burdens, because we do not want to put it off but to put it on, so that our dying bodies may be swallowed up by life." - II Corinthians 5:4-5

All of us at the Vail Post Office want to send our deepest sympathies.. Walter was our friend and co-worker for many years in Vail. He was such a kind man, and he will be missed SO much!! Even after he retired and went to work at Firstbank in Vail, we were all so happy to see him when he came to drop off the mail from the bank! He always had a smile on his face and a kind word for everybody. It is so sad to lose such a wonderful person! Our prayers are with your family, and wishing comfort and peace for you!! God Bless!

Claudia and I were saddened to read of Walter's death, and our hearts go out to his family and many friends. Wally was a trusted friend,co-worker and neighbor for many years and one of the people that I missed not seeing most when we moved away from Red cliff. Wally was really one of those people that had a way of growing on you, I missed him in life and will miss him even more now that I know that he is no longer among the living.
With deepest regrets,

Ray and Claudia Manzanares
