Ernest Dwight Friese, 81, passed from this life the morning of February 24th, 2016, after a long battle with Alzheimer's.  Dwight was born in Chicago, IL, to loving parents Ernest and Fleeta Friese.  He has lived in the Denver area since 1965.

Dwight worked 32 years for Western Electric.  After his retirement he enjoyed teaching in the Winter Park handicap ski program, ushering at the Colorado Rockies baseball games, serving at his church, biking, golfing and painting.  Dwight also served in the National Guard.  

Dwight is survived by his wife of 62 years, Jean, his daughter Jill Noel Tuning (Tom);  three  grandchildren: Denise Holliday, Scott Tuning and Tracy Tuning;  and eight great grandchildren: Gabriel, Stevan, Josiah, Sarah, Megan, Aiden, Lauren Grace, and Yana.  

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 27th at 11:00 AM.  Location:  Windsor Gardens Auditorium, 595 S. Clinton Street, Denver, CO 80247.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dwight's granddaughter's missionary organization, CMIAsia, 690 S. Alton Way Unit 8D, Denver, CO 80247.

Just heard about Dwight from Virgean. I am so sorry you had to go through some very hard years. I pray God will redeem them with blessings and healing memories.
