Virginia M. Martinez, 89 of Leadville, Colorado passed away peacefully in Englewood, Colorado on Tuesday morning, November 25, 2014.  A visitation will be held on Friday, November 28, 2014 from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Annunciation Catholic Church, Leadville with a Rosary and Vigil Service to follow at 6:00 p.m. with Deacon Tony Werckman officiating.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Annunciation Church with Reverend Father Jesse Perez as Celebrant.  Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery followed by a reception at Leadville Elks Lodge, #236.  A full obituary will follow soon.  Please click on the "Condolences" tab above to leave a condolence for Mrs. Martinez's family.

My condolences to the Martinez family . Virginia was always a kind women to me as a young boy . She will be missed . I will keep her and her family in my prayers .

My dear Aunt Virginia thank you for blessing us with your presence all these years. You have been a rock in our family who will be truly missed. Thank you for being who you were, and who you made everyone whose life you touched. To her Brothers, Sisters, Children, and rest of her family remember all the good times she left us with. We just want you to know you are in our thoughts and prayers. Always remember, To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord! My prayers are deep especially during your grief now for
the holiday's. Our family lost dad four days before christmas so we know your pain.
